The professional drummer Zacky was born in Greece and began drumming at the age of ten. He initially played traditional music with his uncle before receiving formal education from a Hungarian teacher in Germany. In 1989, he recorded his first album with the band Attack, which gained international success and led to more albums.


In 1995, Zacky joined the John Hayes Project, led by the guitarist of Mother’s Finest, and attended the Music Institute (MI) in Los Angeles in 1996. He toured Germany with Juliane Werding and contributed to the album of the band 5000 Watts in 1998. Zacky performed with Fair Warning and toured Japan after opening several shows for Status Quo in 2000.


The charismatic drummer from Greece then joined the Berlin-based band Soul Doctor, recording several albums and touring in Europe and Japan. In 2003, he embarked on a world tour with Afghan singer Farhad Darya. Zacky was also engaged by the famous singer Al Bano Carrisi (of Al Bano & Romina Power) for festivals and concerts worldwide. During this time, he played a few shows with Mia Aegerter and Ronan Keating in Germany and Switzerland.


Between 2004 and 2007, Zacky continued to tour globally and joined the band of Helmut Zerlett, known as the bandleader of the Harald Schmidt Show Band. In 2007 and 2008, he had the honor of performing with renowned bassist Billy Sheehan at music exhibitions in Frankfurt and Prague.


As an endorser for several companies, Zacky played hundreds of shows and workshops and served as a tutor at various academies. He became a permanent member of the band Errorhead in 2004, gaining fame in Europe for their unique style and music genres. He also toured with the band Almanac at various festivals and clubs, contributing to the Kingslayer album in 2017.


Zacky recorded two albums with the band Mother Road: Drive in 2020 and Two in 2021. In 2022, he toured with the 1982 Grand Prix winner Nicole Seibert. Over his career, Zacky has left his mark by drumming on more than 60 albums.
