He was born in İstanbul in 1981. Since 2002 he attended recording sessions and performed concerts locally and abroad with bands and musicians including Duman, Teoman, Sertab Erener, Ceza, Hande Yener, Aylin Aslım, Özge Fışkın, Aslı Gökyokuş, Vega, Malt, Üçnoktabir and Nefes. In 2015, his own band Kes released their first album Kamlama, which received positive reviews from local and international critics. He continues to perform with Duman and Kes.
