Carl was first introduced to the drums at the age of 11 and immediately became fixated. All through school he was involved in the ensembles and shows, giving him the urge to pursue music as a career.
Carl went on to study at Newcastle College and received a BMus in Jazz Popular and Commercial Music in 2003. Since then Carl has been an active educator for many establishments such as Yarm School and The Northern School of Contemporary Music. Carl has also performed around the world with many artists, such as Spector, CODE:MANTA, Jamie Squire, RJ Thompson, The Danny Allan Band, The Jimi Savage Band, plus many more.
Carl is currently between the UK and USA working with many bands and artists.
