Erik started out into the world of music as a child at the age of 3 when be began to play piano and drums. From here it was clear Erik was going to be a star. He began teaching drums when he was just 15 years old and his musical career spiraled from here. Today, Erik is recognised as one of Europes most respected and versatile drummers and respected by many, after working with many well known artists such as Michael Bolton, Art Garfunkel, Neil Sedaka, Josh Groban, Donna Summer, Engelbert Humperdinck, John Miles, Boney M, Johnny Logan, Wenche Myhre, Lisa Nilsson, Samantha Fox, Carlene Carter, Al Jearrau, Randy Crawford, Frank Gambale, Bobby Shew, Andy Sheppard, Eddie Daniels, Niels Landgren, Bart Van Lier, Bill Champlin, Phil Woods, Putte Wickman, Ed Palermo, Django Bates, Bob Mintzer, Hector Bingert, DeeDee Bridgewater and Gerald Wilson.
