Istanbul Mehmet cymbals will be at this years NAMM in LA! NAMM is the worlds largest trade-only event for the music products industry. The show is held every January at the Anaheim Convention Centre in California and we’re super excited to be apart of it. Check out what Istanbul Mehmet Inspire artist Kyle Hughes is up to over the next few months! Kyle has been part of Istanbul Inspire since day one and he’s come a long way. Kyle is drummer for band Twister, who have recently released a single on iTunes called Feeding frenzy and on the 3rd February Twisters new Album ‘This isn’t Wonderland’ will also be available to download.
Gigging every weekend up and down the country, Twister are making themselves known and have attracted a lot of attention, now they’re looking to get signed.
Twisters tour starts on the 15th February 2014 , supporting band called Taking Hayley. Check out the tour dates below and make sure you get yourself along!

Yes folks some latest new from the Frankfurt music show 2014 Istanbul Mehmet UK have just been informed that Istanbul Mehmet has exclusive rights to the Tony Williams cymbal manufacturing at the head quarters in Istanbul. Widely regarded as one of the most important and influential jazz drummers to come to prominence in the 1960s, Williams first gained fame in the band of trumpeter Miles Davis and was a pioneer of jazz fusion. He is also considered the inventor of the blast beat, a technique that would become an important element of punk rock and heavy metal drumming. Istanbul cymbals UK are delighted to have such a legend of a name branded onto the Istanbul Mehmet cymbals. More information coming soon…..

Scott has recently became an Istanbul Mehmet artist and here’s the story behind it…
Scott plays drums for the 60s legends,
The Searchers and until late last year had always used Sabian cymbals. It wasn’t until Scott played a kit in Europe, which was set-up with Istanbul Mehmet’s that he realised what he had been missing and finally found the ride sound he had been searching for! Scott then went on to buy that exact ride cymbal and added a 16” Mehmet crash and 15” Mehmet hi hats and has never looked back!
Scott came into Istanbul Mehmet HQ today to pick up some more cymbals for The Searchers tour. His cymbal set-up now includes Istanbul Traditional series, Radiant, and Sultan!
