Erik is recognised as a versatile and seasoned drummer who has had a long and fruitful drumming career playing alongside the likes of Donna Summer an Josh Groban to name but a few. The Istanbul Mehmet 22" Erik Smith Versa Ride like Erik is a versatile cymbal which has been created using a high grade B20 bronze alloy and features a custom lathed top for a higher pitch sound. In terms of sound, the brilliant finish allows for a rich, warm sound with reliable stick definition, dark and controlled overtones. A large bell, allows for a greater variation of overtones, enhanced volume and a greater attack.
